Before use, it’s important to thoroughly clean the frog grooves — but keep them dry (do not rinse with water). If the hoof is slightly moist, that’s not a problem.

The best method is to place a swab or small cloth over a wooden tongue depressor (blunt) and wipe through the frog grooves several times. Be sure to change the cloth frequently to avoid spreading bacteria. Then apply a few drops of Keralit Frog Liquid directly into the grooves using the dosing nozzle. After that, carefully widen the grooves with the spatula so the solution can reach the deepest pockets.

Apply daily for about 3 to 4 days, then gradually increase the intervals between applications. For prevention, one application per week is usually sufficient. In all cases, good stable hygiene is essential.
