General terms and conditions of business
1. Scope
The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through our online shop. Our online shop is aimed exclusively at consumers.
A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to his commercial nor to his independent professional activity.
An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when concluding a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of his or her commercial or independent professional activity.
2. Contracting parties, conclusion of contract, correction options
The purchase contract is concluded with Alpurial GmbH.
By placing the products in our online shop, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these items. You can initially place our products in your shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction tools provided and explained during the ordering process. The contract is concluded when you accept the offer for the goods contained in the shopping cart by clicking the order button.
Immediately after submitting your order, you will receive a confirmation email.
3. Contract language, contract text storage

We save the contract text and send you the order details and our General Terms and Conditions in text form. You can view the contract text in our customer login.
4. Delivery conditions
Shipping costs are added to the stated product prices. You can find more information about shipping costs in the individual offers.
We only ship by mail. Unfortunately, pickup is not possible.
5. Payment
In our shop you can generally use the following payment methods:
Prepayment
If you choose to pay in advance, we will send you our bank details in a separate email and deliver the goods after receipt of payment.
credit card
When you place your order, you provide your credit card details. Once you have verified your identity as the legitimate cardholder, the payment transaction will be processed automatically, and your card will be charged.
Klarna PayNow credit card
When you place your order, you provide your credit card details. Once you have verified your identity as the legitimate cardholder, the payment transaction will be automatically processed and your card charged immediately after the goods are shipped.
Klarna PayNow direct debit
After a successful address and credit check during the ordering process, you will issue a SEPA direct debit mandate to the online provider Klarna upon placing your order. Klarna will inform you of the date your account will be debited (so-called pre-notification). Upon submitting the direct debit mandate, Klarna will request your bank to initiate the payment transaction. The payment transaction will be processed automatically and your account will be debited. The account will be debited after the goods have been dispatched. Klarna's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy apply to payment processing via Klarna – in addition to our Terms and Conditions. PayPal, PayPal Express
During the ordering process, you will be redirected to the website of the online provider PayPal. To pay the invoice amount via PayPal, you must be registered there or register first, authenticate yourself with your login details, and confirm the payment instruction to us. After placing your order in the shop, we will request PayPal to initiate the payment transaction. The payment transaction will be processed automatically by PayPal immediately thereafter. You will receive further instructions during the ordering process.
PayPal Plus
As part of the PayPal Plus payment service, we offer you various payment methods as PayPal Services. You will be redirected to the website of the online provider PayPal. There you can enter your payment details, confirm PayPal's use of your data, and confirm the payment instruction to PayPal.
If you have chosen PayPal as your payment method, you must be registered with PayPal to pay the invoice amount, or you must first register and authenticate yourself with your login details. PayPal will process the payment transaction automatically immediately after confirming the payment order. Further information will be provided during the ordering process.
Sofort by Klarna
After placing your order, you will be redirected to the website of the online provider Sofort GmbH.
To pay the invoice amount via Sofort, you must have a bank account activated for online banking, verify your identity, and confirm the payment order to us. You will receive further information during the ordering process. Sofort will process the payment transaction immediately afterward, and your account will be debited.
Apple Pay
To pay the invoice amount via Apple Pay, you must use the Safari browser, be registered with Apple, have activated the Apple Pay feature, authenticate yourself with your login details, and confirm the payment instruction. The payment transaction will be processed immediately after you place your order. Further instructions will be provided during the ordering process.
Google Pay
To pay the invoice amount via Google Pay, you must be registered with the service provider Google, have activated the Google Pay feature, authenticate yourself with your login details, and confirm the payment order. The payment transaction will be processed immediately after placing the order. Further information will be provided during the ordering process.
Giropay
After placing your order, you will be redirected to your bank's website. To pay the invoice amount via Giropay, you must have a bank account activated for online banking, verify your identity, and confirm the payment order to us. You will receive further information during the ordering process. The payment transaction will be processed immediately afterward, and your account will be debited.
Paydirekt
After placing your order, you will be redirected to the website of the online provider paydirekt. To pay the invoice amount via paydirekt, you must have an online banking account activated for participation in paydirekt, be registered there or register first, authenticate yourself with your login details, and confirm the payment instruction to us. Immediately after placing your order, we will request paydirekt to initiate the payment transaction. The payment transaction is processed automatically by paydirekt. You will receive further information during the ordering process.
Purchase on account via Klarna
In collaboration with Klarna AB (www.klarna.de), Sveavägen 46, Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you purchase on account as a payment option. Please note that Klarna invoices are only available to consumers and that payment must be made to Klarna. When purchasing on account with Klarna, you always receive the goods first, and you always have a payment period of 14 days. 6. Use of discount codes
Our discount codes are a popular benefit for our customers and are designed to offer you a special shopping experience. To ensure the fair and transparent use of our discount codes, we would like to draw your attention to the following terms and conditions:
Discount codes cannot be combined. Only one discount code can be redeemed per order.
Please note that only one discount code can be used per order. It is not possible to redeem multiple discount codes for one order at the same time. This applies to discount codes from special promotions as well as personally sent discount codes.
We thank you for your understanding and loyalty to our company. If you have any questions or concerns about our discount codes, our customer service team will be happy to assist you.
7.1 Subject matter of the contract
With Alpurial's subscription model, you regularly receive your selected liquids with a 10% discount. The exact subscription terms and conditions can be viewed in your customer account.
7.2 Contract term and termination
The subscription is concluded for an indefinite period. You can cancel it at any time without giving reasons, effective at the end of the current month. Cancellation must be made in writing via email to info@alpurial.de or via your customer account. Upon receipt of your cancellation, you will receive a confirmation email.
7.3 Delivery frequency and adjustments
Delivery occurs every 30 days. Changes must be made at least 7 days before the next scheduled delivery.
7.4 Pausing the subscription
You have the option to pause your subscription for up to three months. You can easily make this change via your customer account. You will receive a notification of the pause via email.
7.5 Price changes
If the prices for the products you subscribe to change, you will be notified by email at least 30 days before the new prices take effect. If you do not agree to the new prices, you have the right to cancel your subscription at the end of the current month.
7.6 Payment terms
Payment is made in advance and can be made by credit card, PayPal, or direct debit. The charge is automatically debited at the beginning of each new billing period.
7.7 Right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal for subscription contracts is governed by our general withdrawal conditions.
7.8 Delivery conditions and liability
Deliveries will be made to the address you provide. Alpurial is not liable for delivery delays caused by unforeseeable circumstances such as force majeure or delays by the shipping provider.
7.9 Gifts from promotions
- As part of special promotions, gifts can be displayed in the shopping cart and sent with the first delivery of a subscription.
- These gifts are one-time additions and not part of the subscription model. Accordingly, they are provided exclusively with the first delivery and are not included in subsequent subscription deliveries.
7.10 Use of voucher codes
Voucher codes are only valid for individual orders and not for subscription deliveries.

8. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been made.
9. Transport damage
If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please report such defects to the delivery person as soon as possible and contact us immediately. Failure to file a complaint or contact us will have no consequences for your statutory rights and their enforcement, in particular your warranty rights. However, you will help us assert our own claims against the freight carrier or transport insurance.
10. Warranty and guarantees
Unless expressly agreed otherwise below, the statutory liability for defects shall apply.
For used goods, the following applies: if the defect occurs after one year from delivery of the goods, claims for defects are excluded. Defects that occur within one year of delivery of the goods can be asserted within the statutory limitation period of two years from delivery of the goods.
The above limitations and shortening of time limits do not apply to claims based on damages caused by us, our legal representatives or vicarious agents
- in case of injury to life, body or health
- in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty and fraudulent intent
- in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, the fulfilment of which is essential for the proper execution of the
contract in the first place and on whose compliance the contractual partner can regularly rely (cardinal obligations)
- within the framework of a guarantee promise, as agreed or
- insofar as the scope of application of the Product Liability Act is open.

11. Liability
We are always liable without limitation for claims based on damages caused by us, our legal representatives or vicarious agents
- in case of injury to life, body or health
- in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty
- in the case of guarantee promises, if agreed, or
- insofar as the scope of application of the Product Liability Act is open.
In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, the fulfilment of which is essential for the proper execution of the contract and on whose compliance the contractual partner may regularly rely (cardinal obligations) due to slight negligence on our part, our legal representatives or vicarious agents, liability shall be limited to the damage foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded and which must typically be expected to occur.
Otherwise, claims for damages are excluded.
12. Participation in disputes
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which you can find here.
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
13. Additional terms and conditions for the Alpurial VIP Shop and the regular Alpurial Shop
13.1 Scope of the subscription model
The subscription model is only available in the regular shop and is not applicable in the VIP shop . Customers shopping in the VIP shop are not entitled to the terms and conditions of the subscription model and its services, discounts, or benefits.
13.2 Pricing and strikethrough prices in the VIP Shop
Exclusive discounts, in the form of strikethrough prices, are only available in the VIP Shop . In the regular shop, there is no eligibility for the strikethrough prices or specific product discounts offered in the VIP Shop.
13.3 Use of discount codes
Discount codes and their redemption apply only to purchases in the regular shop . Discount codes cannot be used in the VIP shop . All discounts in the VIP shop are reflected directly in the product price and cannot be combined with additional discount codes.
14. Eating Guarantee
Conditions of the feeding guarantee:
- The feeding guarantee applies to all Alpurial compound feed purchased and paid for in the online shop www.alpurial.de .
- The product must still contain at least 800 ml when the complaint is made.
- A maximum of two products can be claimed per order. The products must be the first purchase by that person, as otherwise they would have already been able to test the product.
- Each customer or person may only make a warranty claim for one order.
- For the complaint, we require an unedited video of the horse being fed. This video first shows the horse eating its feed, then the addition of the Alpurial product, and then the horse stopping eating its feed.
- You must be able to prove that the buyer of the Alpurial product is the owner of the horse or actively rides it.
- The complaint may be made no later than 30 days after purchase.
- The customer is obligated to keep the tested product, including its packaging, sealed until the warranty claim is accepted. In case of doubt, Alpurial reserves the right to request the customer to return the tested product to Alpurial.
- The customer shall bear the direct costs of returning goods that can be sent by parcel, as well as the direct costs of returning goods that cannot be sent by parcel
- When returning products, any free items included with the order must also be returned. If these are not returned, the value of the products will be retained and deducted from the price of the ordered product.
- We reserve the right to void the warranty in the event of misuse, fraud, false or inappropriate information.
To claim the food guarantee you must do the following:
Record the warranty video and send it along with your order number and the address you provided in your order by email to service@alpurial.de or via WhatsApp to +49 1515 0332732. After successful verification of the information, you will receive a refund of the purchase price of your product.
15. ADMR compliant
The labeling of a product as "ADMR compliant" refers exclusively to the respective individual product and its specific properties. This conformity applies only within the framework of the FN requirements at the time of sale and only to the individual, labeled product. It does not automatically extend to other products. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the respective conformity meets the individual requirements and intended use before purchase.
When feeding several products together, care must always be taken to ensure that the respective maximum quantities are not exceeded.
16. Special offers
Special promotions (e.g., discounts, free gifts, or promotional packages) are only valid during the specified period and while supplies last. We reserve the right to end promotions prematurely in the event of unforeseeable delivery difficulties or similar circumstances. The period and any restrictions will be announced separately in connection with the promotion.
