Joint Fit

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of joint fluid and is associated with the physiological lubrication of joints. In horse nutrition it is valued as part of supporting normal mobility, particularly during phases of high physical demand.

Glucosamine is a natural component of joint cartilage and is also found in other connective tissue structures such as tendons and ligaments. In horse nutrition it is linked to the nutritional support of joint function, especially under high physical strain.

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is an organic sulfur compound that also naturally occurs in pasture grass. Sulfur is a building block of various body structures such as connective tissue, tendons, skin and joints. MSM is valued as part of the nutritional support of the musculoskeletal system.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is known as a source of natural plant compounds with antioxidant properties. These secondary plant substances are linked to nutritional support for cellular protection. Adequate supply may be considered useful during phases of high physical demand – including in relation to the musculoskeletal system and immune balance.

Chondroitin sulfate is a natural component of joint cartilage and is also present in other connective tissue structures. In horse nutrition it is valued as part of the nutritional support of the musculoskeletal system.

Frankincense extract (Boswellia serrata) is a plant-based ingredient traditionally used in animal nutrition. Its natural secondary plant compounds are associated with nutritional support for immune balance and the musculoskeletal system, particularly during phases of high physical demand.

Manganese is an essential trace element and a component of various enzymes connected with the maintenance of cartilage and connective tissue structures. In horse nutrition, manganese is valued as part of the nutritional support of the musculoskeletal system.

For large horses (on regular feeding), one bottle will last for about a month. For small horses, even two months.

Joint Fit can be fed both continuously or in phases. In acute situations or as a preventive measure, Joint Fit can be given for a limited period. However, for horses with pre-existing issues, continuous feeding is recommended.

All our products can be prepared in advance for feeding. We recommend a maximum preparation time of 24 hours.

Joint Fit can be fed optimally as a preventive measure as well as in acute situations.

Joint Fit should not be fed to pregnant mares.

Joint Fit is show safe, meaning it is not doping-relevant.

Tendon Strong and Joint Fit can be fed at the same time. However, in this case the recommendation per product changes to 20 ml/day for a large horse and 10 ml/day for a small horse/pony.
